As we can see from the video above, personal social media accounts are never really "personal." A former professor sure got this message loud and clear.

Rick Coupland, former professor at St. Lawrence College in Ontario Canada, recently took Facebook to post a story about a rainbow flag raised in Florida, with the comment:
"it's the queers they should be hanging, not the flag..."


According to Canada's Metro News, Coupland later posted to Facebook that he was being called into the college, and for friends to "pray for me." Shortly after, St. Lawrence College issued a formal statement on Twitter announcing Coupland would no longer be working there.



This is a prime example of a "private" social media account really not being so private after all...
