Jennifer Lynn Lopez was born on July 24, 1969, in The Bronx, New York, to Puerto Rican parents Guadalupe Rodriguez and David Lopez. She has two sisters: Leslie and Lynda.

J. Lo started out her career as a backup dancer for the New Kids on the Block in 1991 and performed with them at the 18th Annual American Music Awards. Shortly after, Lopez gained her first regular high-profile job as a Fly Girl dancer on the television program 'In Living Color.'

Since her early roots, Jennifer has exploded on the music and film scenes, as well as being highly respected in the fashion world. Cheers to you, J. Lo, on your 46th birthday!
