See the risky 'Pawn Stars' gamble that got a 400 percent profit

Monday's episode of "Pawn Stars" reminded us all why we should be going to garage sales. And often.

"I'll give you $6,000 cash, and I'll take the risk," said Rick Harrison on "Pawn Stars."

The owner of that Polish White Eagle Medal bought it at a garage sale for just 75 cents and sold it to Rick for a cool $6,000.

Pretty cool story, but it didn't end there there.

That same day, Rick had the medal appraised.

"How much? Quit teasing me," Rick asked the expert.

"$30 to $40 grand. $30,000 to $40,000. That's incredible!" the expert replied.

And in one final update, we discovered Rick sold the medal for $30,000.

So just in case you're wondering, that equals a 400 percent profit for him and his shop. Talk about a risk worth taking!

Many Facebook fans didn't seem to care too much about the specific items showcased on the new episode —they were mostly just excited "Pawn Stars" is back on the air after its recent break.

As for us, we're just wondering which garage sale we can go to make a few grand.
