McDonald's Manager Confirms Secret Menu

A McDonald's manager has confirmed what devoted customers have long suspected: the fast-food joint does have a secret menu.

The revelation came during a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" discussion this week that began with someone claiming to be a McDonald's shift manager in Scotland. Users submitted nearly 5,000 comments and questions -- but one floated to the top.

"Can you confirm the validity of the 'Secret Menu?"

We've known for years that McDonald's employees can switch up your order -- from a Big Mac with no pickle to a side of Honey Mustard with your fries.

"Order one and the workers might not know it by name... but if you explain what it is, and are willing to pay for all the ingredients, it's just another 'grill order' that we can make up," the self-professed manager said of the secret menu items.

We scoured the web for the five best secret menu items.

The Mc10:35: Get your timing right - you can only order this between 10:30 and 11AM when the grill is switching over. It's a McDouble patty in an egg McMuffin. You won't need to eat until dinner, or possibly the next day.

The Land, Air, And Sea Burger: That's a Big Mac, Filet O Fish and McChicken all in one sandwich. You have to be brave to tackle that one.

Fries with Big Mac sauce: That's Big Mac sauce plus fries. Something our parents never told us about but should have. We'd like to start a campaign to get this on the menu.

* Also, Big Mac sauce is free. Ask nicely.

The McGangBang: The fact that someone dreamed up a McChicken stuck between a double cheeseburger? It sounds devilishly delicious -- but FOR THE RECORD — we don't approve of the name

The McCrepe: A little taste of Paris right at your local Mickey D's. Ask them them for hotcakes and get a little fruit and yogurt parfait in there. Bonjour, delicious!

McDonald's isn't the only one with a secret menu.

The West Coast burger chain In N' Out's secret menu is so well known, it's not much of a secret. Ask for a burger "Animal Style" which adds mustard and grilled onions to the mix.

Chipotle's holy grail is the Quesarito. That's a quesadilla wrapped burrito. That treat is so beloved it even has it's own Facebook fan page.
