A-Rod posts picture of himself smoking a cigar in honor of CC Sabathia's birthday
Alex Rodriguez quietly wins Twitter on Tuesday, thanks to posting a bromance picture alongside his Yankee teammates hanging out at what appears to be a festival or fair of some sort.
He is, of course, at the center of the group shot which includes Brian McCann, Dellin Betances, Michael Pineda and Carlos Beltran, among others, all celebrating CC Sabathia's 35th birthday.
It's always fun when you're in first place. Good times.
Take a second to really, really examine this picture, though. It truly depicts the state of the Yankees.
A-Rod has been at the center of the franchise, on his knees begging fans forgiveness. Look at his pose.
CC, all smiles after lowering his ERA to a healthy 5.25 upon hurling a one-run gem on Sunday afternoon against the Mariners, is in front of a zeppoli and fried oreo stand.
Oh, and there's also tents. Given this club was supposed to stink, but is actually in position to make a legitimate playoff run (and all the drama that surrounded the group), I guess you could call this a full-blown circus.
I can't believe this team is going to win the American League East.
