(NYMag) -- Last night in Phoenix, Arizona, more than 11,000 people attended a rally for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, according to the Washington Post.

It was the largest crowd yet for any 2016 candidate, beating Sanders' previous high mark of 10,000 at a rally in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. The 73-year-old senator is still trailing Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton by a significant margin.
