Adrian Peterson looks like a real-life action figure

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has not played in an NFL game since Week 1 of last season after being suspended for his involvement in his child abuse case.

Apparently, Peterson has still kept himself busy despite not being able to play.

Pictures surfaced on Thursday of Peterson working out in Dallas with David Robinson of D-Rob Sports & Fitness Training. The pictures make Peterson look more like an action figure than an actual human being.

The former 2012 NFL MVP appears to have been working hard this offseason. There are plenty of questions as to how effective he will be after essentially missing an entire season, but the 30-year-old has averaged 5.0 yards per carry with 86 rushing touchdowns over his eight-year career. Now, with a promising young quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater in front of him, Peterson won't have to be the only threat in the Vikings offense for once.

Expect Peterson to have another solid season, with some increased production out of the backfield in the passing game. If he already looks like this in July, imagine what the 6'1", 220-pound running back will be doing on the field once the regular season begins.
