Ronda Rousey is attending the ESPY's where she is nominated for several awards. While strolling on the red carpet they went ahead and awarded her the 'Best Fighter' award, one of her nominations, beating out people like Floyd Mayweather.

During her brief acceptance speech if you can call it that.

"I can't help but really say that, I wonder how Floyd feels about being beat by a woman for once," Rousey said. "I'd like to see him pretend to not know who I am now."

Mayweather of course famously said he didn't know who Rousey was, or what gender for that matter, when asked about the UFC champion. He later apologized for the comments.

I don't know what exactly is the best part of the quick fallout of this exchange on the red carpet, Rousey or Jesse Palmer's reaction.

Rousey knows exactly what she said, that it will be on every sports site around the world in a matter of seconds, or that she doesn't care.

Palmer seemed slightly surprised at her comment yet very amused all at the same time. I also imagine that this is the same face I made when hearing it.

Rousey has been known to take some stabs at Mayweather and his history of domestic violence before, like a comment about the fact that they'd only ever fight if they dated. The comparisons between Rousey and Mayweather come up rather frequently given their respective dominance in combat sports.

Rousey has also been critical of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice for his domestic violence incident as well, saying things would've been different if she was in the elevator with him.

Either way, Rousey's diss deserves the "Unexpected Thug Life" treatment.
