The NFL hasn't seen the likes of Brett Favre for a while now — and we don't miss him like he maybe would like. The quarterback position has evolved over the years since Favre retired, but you have to give him credit for being a prototype for the style that is played under center these days.

Aaron Rodgers is now the man in Green Bay, and he's quickly surpassing the legacy that Favre left behind, which is something he can't be pleased about.

Still, the two have intersected over the years, and we got another dose of that at the ESPYs on Wednesday night. The highlight of the get-together wasn't that Favre and Rodgers were together, it was that Brett Favre almost got taken out by an office chair in the process of presenting his successor with another award to put on his mantle.

This is hilarious in it's own right, but you need to dig deep for the real troll here.

Favre thinks he can still play and will until the day he dies. In fact, he had just got through saying he thinks he can still play in the NFL, he just doesn't want to get hit.

He dutifully followed that up with being taken to by an office chair.

Never change, Brett. Never change.
