As is illustrated in the video above, it is a fairly common occurrence to lock your keys in your car — which could be deadly with precious cargo in the backseat. Luckily, this story has a happy ending, thanks to Batman.

It's a bird, it's a plane — no, it's an adorable child sporting a Batman costume!

5-year-old Zavi Ahmed from the United Kingdom proudly paraded around the grocery store in his full Batman suit, cape and all. Accompanied by his mother and little brother, the Ahmed's thought they were just out for a typical shopping trip.

While outside, grandparents John and Caroline Penny were packing up their car in the grocery story parking lot, when the doors mysteriously locked. To their horror, their granddaughter Iris was sleeping soundly in the back seat.

They called Sussex Police who attempted to break into their car, and eventually resorted to breaking in the back window. Even with the window broken, they couldn't manage to get the keys. That's where Zavi comes in. The-5-year-old bravely offered his assistance to climb through the back window and fetch the keys.

Alas, Iris was saved — courtesy of the unbelievable Batman.
