Congratulations are in order! Canadian goalkeeper Erin McLeod and American striker Ella Masar tied the knot fresh off the Women's World Cup.

The couple, who both play for the professional women's soccer team, Houston Dash, have taken to Instagram to fight off internet trolls and declare their love for all to see.

Their love has not been without obstacles. Earlier this year, Masar came out publicly in an article focusing on her Christian faith, after receiving homophobic comments on a personal family photo.

But, negativity aside — these champs certainly have a lot to celebrate. World soccer champions and newlyweds (and all in one week)! Party hard ladies!
