"Madam Secretary" has booked a former Secretary of State.

Madeleine Albright, the first woman to hold the position, will guest star as herself on a fall episode of the CBS drama.

In the episode, Albright advises Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord (Téa Leoni) on how to navigate a difficult situation with National Security Advisor Craig Sterling (guest star Julian Acosta) that's threatening her relationship with President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine).
