Not everyone viewed Audrey Hepburn as a mega-watt star!

The youngest son of iconic actress Audrey Hepburn says he had absolutely no idea his mother was famous.

Most of the world knew Hepburn for her role as Holly Golightly in "Breakfast At Tiffany's," or her performances in films like "Roman Holiday" and "My Fair Lady." But to her son, Luca Dotti, she was just "Mom."

Nearly 22 years after her death, Dotti sat down with "This Morning" to discuss his mother's life and his new book "Audrey At Home, Memories of My Mother's Kitchen."
"I didn't realize until after her death she was such an icon," he said. "When she was alive she was always caring about her charities and us. There was a big gap between her private life and public life."

Dotti explains that he had no clue family friends Julie Andrews and Roger Moore were better known to the public as Mary Poppins and James Bond.

Hepburn's son says he wrote the new book "Audrey At Home" to raise money for UNICEF, a charity for which she worked as a goodwill ambassador up until her death in 1993.

While he didn't seem to know much about her star power, it's clear he's inherited her huge heart.
