A New App Helps You Help The Homeless

Just as the video above shows, there are many different ways to help the homeless.

Burmese punk band, Rebel Riot, is working with Food Not Bombs -- an organization that helps volunteers provide vegetarian meals to those in need.

A singer in the band told VICE:

The members of Rebel Riot believe that they help around 80 to 100 people a night when they participate in the evening food distribution walk. Kyaw Kyaw summed up his motivation to help by telling VICE, "Eventually I want to make a change for all street people. To find out what they want and need, and help them to get it."
