Nuggets Guard Ty Lawson Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

Less than six months after being arrested on suspicion of DUI, Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson is in police custody once again for the same crime.

TMZ Sports broke the news Tuesday morning after supposedly speaking with Lawson after leaving Le Jardin nightclub in Hollywood. Lawson was arrested in Denver this past winter for driving while intoxicated, and he pled guilty to underage drinking and driving while playing NCAA ball at North Carolina.

He's currently being held on $5,000 bail at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, CA. The NBA typically dolls out two-game suspensions for first-time DUI offenders -- though Lawson was not suspended for his January arrest.

The guard's name has been in trade rumors all summer, and he's openly admitted to wanting out of Denver. If the team was having trouble trading him previously, this certainly won't help matters.
