As the newest member of the "X-Men" crew, Olivia Munn discussed her role as Psylocke in the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" with talk show host Conan O'Brien.
While we may think taking on the glorified superhero persona or holding her own with the experienced cast would pose the greatest challenges on set for Munn, it turns out there's another struggle she faces that out-does all the others: getting into that latex costume.
Munn's role requires the actress to wear an insanely tight-fitting latex body suit. Naturally, O'Brien questioned Munn about the suit as we all wonder how on earth one can possibly fit a stunning yet still human body into a full-on latex suit. Her answer was quite simple: lube. The actress said:
"They lubricate the costume and they lubricate me."
According to Munn, two women cover both the actress and the costume in lube before helping her step into the latex suit. That's one way to do it.
It seems being the heroine of a superhero movie isn't quite as glamorous as one may assume. We commend Munn for stopping at nothing to fit the part...and the costume.
