Ever wonder who Tom Cruise's stunt double is?

Guess again, because he doesn't have a stunt double in "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation." The 53-year-old actor took to Twitter to clarify a little "confusion" around why the stunts in the new film look so incredibly real. The answer is, because they're real.

In the film's stunt featurette, Cruise mounts the side of an airplane and holds on for dear life as it ascends into the sky.

This isn't his first time trying a scary stunt for the "M.I." franchise. In "Mission Impossible 2," Cruise hung off a cliffside without any ropes or ties to secure his safety.

Guess he isn't scared of heights ... or life-threatening stunts.
