Stephen A. Smith says he could do Phil Jackson's job (Video)

Phil Jackson Blasts Knicks, New York Media Hits Back

The New York Knicks are not a great franchise — which is probably the understatement of the decade. They've been a dumpster fire for the past few seasons and fans are ponce again at their boiling point with Phil Jackson's regime. No fan is as consistently livid at the Knicks than ESPN reporter Stephen A. Smith, who routinely has a series of mini-strokes that come out in the form of rants about the Knicks.

Smith went on a doozy after the NBA Draft about the direction that the team, and he really hasn't stopped since. On Monday's edition of First Take on ESPN2, the crew welcomed in New Yorker Jerry Ferrara, which meant we were in for some talk about the Knicks.

Despite saying that he was all ranted out, Smith proceed to engage in a slow boil rant that started out calm and quickly became a diatribe about how Phil Jackson is a snake oil salesman.

Just watch and enjoy:

To cap things off, Stephen A. Smith reached peak Stephen A. Smith by nearly popping when calling Phil Jackson a liar.

Who needs coffee in the mornings when you have Stephen A. Smith pumping up your heart rate with rants like this. He's going to put himself in an early grave when he goes on a rant so intense his heart literally explodes — which will probably be followed by a closing rant about how the Knicks are still more weak hearted.
