Lucas Duda doesn't want an Instagram account, so his Mets teammates made one for him

Should the Mets Go All-in?

Just as in life, in pro sports, some people are more dedicated to social media than others. You have the J.R. Smiths of the world, and you have the group who couldn't care less about Twitter, Instagram or any other social platform.

Throw New York Mets first baseman Lucas Duda into the latter. The goofy looking, softspoken slugger isn't on social media at all -- as far as we know -- while several of his teammates have made it a point to establish a presence online.

Fortunately -- or unfortunately -- for Duda, those teammates are helping him boost his #brand.

Fellow Mets Curtis Granderson, John Mayberry Jr. and Danny Muno recently started the Instagram account @wefollowlucasduda, which constantly posts photos of the first baseman around the clubhouse and elsewhere.

The trio is even offering fans the chance at free Mets tickets by sending in any selfies taken with Duda.

The account has barely existed for two days and its fans are doing a hilarious job of keeping it fresh. Duda's normally quiet nature makes these candid shots all the more entertaining.
