Jessica Simpson throws a lavish 35th birthday party

Jessica Simpson knows how to throw a party!

Thirty-five is looking pretty good for Simpson - and her nearest and dearest. The songstress-turned-fashion mogul is celebrating her 35th birthday the way we all wish we could: on a two week luxury vacation to the Caribbean with her family and besties. For her 34th birthday, Simpson was on her honeymoon with hubby Eric Johnson so she had to pull out all the stops to top it.

An insider tells US Weekly she flew a huge group of loved ones to St. Barths for a celebratory vacay. Simpson's husband and children are there along with her mom and some friends including A-list pals Dave and Odette Annable. Star reports that there are 30 people total for the b-day bash and that it's all expenses paid.

How much could two weeks in paradise cost, you ask? A freaking king's ransom. According to Star, the whole kit and kaboodle totals 2 million dollars.

But, the fashion designer can certainly afford the hoopla. Her brand is valued at a billion dollars -- and those shoes of hers are way too cute! While Simpson hasn't been posting any photos to her own Instagram account, it hasn't stopped her pals from documenting their yacht week
