Husband sends threatening emails to wife for 9 years

Some couples might choose to get a divorce after one spouse has an affair, but for one Utah man he chose to stay with his wife...and make her live in fear for a decade.

Melissa Mockbee says she began receiving threatening emails in 2006 — sometimes 40 in a day promising physical and sexual abuse.

She turned to her husband Rick for help but an investigation recently revealed that it was her husband all along.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the man admitted to harassing his wife online for the last nine years because he was angry about an affair she had.

The two are now separated...she has a protective order against him...and he faces 10 counts of stalking. May we recommend counseling next time?
