Disney Removes Bill Cosby Statue From Theme Park



1. Three were shot dead Tuesday night near the University of Maryland's campus in Baltimore. A fourth went to the hospital to seek treatment for gunshot wounds. The investigation is ongoing. Read more here.

2. The highly-controversial case of an undocumented Mexican felon deported five times took a new twist Tuesday as it was revealed the gun used to kill 32-year-old Kathryn "Kate" Steinle belong to a federal agent. Alleged murderer Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez said he found the gun wrapped in a t-shirt on the San Francisco boardwalk. Read more here.



3. Bill Cosby's statue was removed from Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, Tuesday night after it was revealed the comedian admitted to obtaining Quaaludes to give to women he wanted to have sex with. Read more here.



4. San Diego's world-famous Comic-Con opens this week with an action-packed schedule. Several movie studios chose to skip the event, but there are highly-anticipated panels on the TV side. Read more here.

5. The South Carolina House begins debating the fate of the Confederate flag on Wednesday. The Senate formally approved a bill to remove the flag, and voted to take the bill directly to the floor. Some House members argue that removing the flag is akin to erasing a part of history. Read more here.
