There is something super enticing about a product when it is said to be a 'limited edition.' In fact, according to MBA Knowledge Base, the limited edition marketing strategy is an actual concept companies leverage. The words carry a sense of immediacy and exclusivity as the products will only be available for a short time and/or in limited numbers.

Limited edition products also give companies a chance to experiment with different flavors, adhere to growing consumer trends, and ensure continuous innovation. Big companies like Starbucks and Taco Bell have this 'limited edition' technique down to a science. With a little promotion, they easily break the internet with the announcement of a new product.

We all give into the hype eventually and try the special treats because of all the commotion they cause. So without further ado, here are 29 'limited edition' seasonal treats you must try before the summer is over:

Taco Bell is testing a new item for their dessert menu: Cap'n Crunch Delights. This sweet fried dough ball is coated in Cap'n Crunch cereal and filled with a sweet, creamy milk icing.

Pirate's Booty launched Pirate's Booty Carrot Snack at the 2015 Natural Products ExpoWest. 
According to Food World News, the new Oreo Frappe was first served in Austria and has only recently arrived in US stores. The Cookies 'N' Cream Frappe, as it is being called in some places, has a mocha frappe base, cookies and cream syrup, is topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup and crushed OREO cookies.

While this isn't really a new product, Ben & Jerry's renamed its signature cookie dough flavor to 'I Dough, I Dough' for the summer in honor of the legalization of same-sex marriage, proving that love comes in all flavors.
