Kevin Bacon turns 57 today!

The famous actor, husband of fellow actress Kyra Sedgwick

and part of the infamous 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon' game celebrates 57 years today.

Bacon burst onto the movie scene in 1978 in National Lampoon's Animal House, and since then he has been in almost 70 films. That's why it's so easy to link him to any actor by six degrees.

Kevin Bacon has been married for 27 years to actress Kyra Sedgwick, and they have two children together.

Bacon has won a Golden Globe Award, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. He was named by The Guardian as one of the best actors never to have received an Academy Award nomination.
