The X-Files might not be coming to Comic-Con, but Fox has made this week a big one for fans.

The show's social media accounts announced -- via Twitter -- that they'll be counting down the 201 days until the 2016 revival by revisiting an episode a day of the original series. (The episodes are currently available to stream via Amazon Prime, Hulu and Netflix, and the entire series is available on DVD. There are no plans, as of now, to put the episodes on Fox's On Demand or digital app.)

And, as a bonus, the trailer for the rewatch features the first new footage of Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) -- at the 32-second mark in the video below -- as the duo search for something in the dark.

(Of note: If you want to get the full X-Files experience, the plan does not include the two movies the show spawned.)

Are you going to partake in the upcoming rewatch? The X-Files returns in January.
