Malia Obama will spend her summer on the set of 'Girls'

While most 17-year-olds are spending their summer after their junior year relaxing or working a part-time job, Malia Obama just landed a sweet internship. The president's daughter will spend the summer working with Lena Dunham on the set of her HBO hit show 'Girls.' She is currently working as an intern at a fashion house, as well.

When Lena came to the White House, Malia made sure to tell her that she was a fan. A source close to the production told Us Weekly, "I'm not sure how long she'll be interning for. It's a bit of a trial thing for her. They've known each other and discussed for a while. Lena and her get along great."

Malia has been spotted grabbing coffee for the cast in Williamsburg, and the teen also helps to keep the public away from the set. After all, even if you're the president's daughter, you have to start somewhere.
