Lloyd Scores 3 as US Wins Women's World Cup

United States women's national team stars Carli Lloyd and Hope Solo took home the Golden Ball and Golden Glove awards respectively.

The United States women's national team won their third Women's World Cup on Sunday night, defeating Japan 5-2. The United States is coming home with a few more trophies as well.

Carli Lloyd, who scored a hat trick in the final, won the Golden Ball for best player in the tournament.

It wasn't Lloyd's only award, she also won the "Silver Boot" for second most goals and assists in the tournament, though some complicated tie breakers prevented her from winning the Golden Boot.

United States goal keeper Hope Solo also won an individual award as the best goalkeeper in the tournament.
