Wal-Mart has apologized for making an ISIS battle flag cake after it recently refused to decorate a cake that was meant to include an image of the Confederate flag. This refusal came after Wal-Mart's decision to pull Confederate flag merchandize off of its shelves last week.

Chuck Netzhammer, the customer who ordered the cakes, said in a YouTube video that Wal-Mart refused to make him a cake that included the Confederate flag and the words, "Heritage Not Hate."

Netzhammer then decided to return to the store, requesting a cake that included a design with the ISIS battle flag, and shockingly, Wal-Mart agreed to make it for him.

He charged the Slidell, Louisiana store with "alienating southern Americans" through its actions and refusal to make the Confederate flag cake.

Since the incident, Wal-Mart has apologized, insisting that the employee who made the cake was unaware that the design included the ISIS flag. More specifically, it said the employee did not recognize the flag in the first place.
