Bill Maher calls Donald Trump 'the white Kanye'

The Donald Trump Campaign Speech That Never Saw the Light of Day

Bill Maher blasted Donald Trump's Presidential aspirations on Friday, referring to the billionaire mogul as "the white Kanye."

"Here's the thing about Donald Trump: he never apologizes; he's never wrong no matter what crazy thing he says," Maher said on "Real Time with Bill Maher." "For a party whose base adores belligerence, this is the guy."

"This is the Frankenstein monster that was created with the Tea Party," Maher continued. "This is your worst nightmare because's he's catapulted to second in the polls, and by the way he's pissed about that."

Amtrak crash near Philadelphia, train derails -many hurt, some badly. Our country has horrible infrastructure problems. Pols can't solve!
"@BiffDiddle: .@realDonaldTrump This is why we need a real leader in the White House. #Trump2016"
The only one to fix the infrastructure of our country is me - roads, airports, bridges. I know how to build, pols only know how to talk!
Remember, politicians are all talk and NO action. Our country is a laughing stock that is going to hell. The lobbyists & donors control all!
TRAIN WRECK just the beginning. Our roads, airports, tunnels, bridges, electric grid - all falling apart.I can fix for 20% of pols, & better
I am the BEST builder, just look at what I've built. Hillary can't build. Republican candidates can't build. They don't have a clue!
We are rebuilding other countries while our own country is going to HELL. Time to rebuild the U.S.A.! Tell our stupid politicians, ENOUGH

Republican pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson pointed out that Trump is not the favorite among conservatives that many believe him to be. "I think the problem that Donald Trump is–well, among the many problems Donald Trump is going to have–is that he is viewed unfavorably by almost three quarters of people who are Republicans," she said.

"His ideals are not as far fetched as people believe," New York Times writer Michael Eric Dyson said. "The scary thing about Donald Trump is his views reflect what millions upon millions of people in the Republican party believe."

"But what folks on this stage are forgetting and what conservatives are forgetting is that he's a Hillary Clinton donor," Fox News contributor Mary Katharine Ham said. "He's been anti-gun, pro-choice, and pro-universal healthcare. If you set him up as the voice of conservative America, conservatives should note these are also his beliefs and so should you."

Writer and director Judd Apatow chimed into the debate, saying "He's the guy on 'The Bachelorette' that you don't want kicked off the show. He's the healer guy, he's the jackass that you're like 'Oh, why did they kick him off? It would have been great if he was there the whole time.'"
