Terror Attacks In Three Continents On Same Day

Friday, June 26th terrorism was global.

Terror attacks in France, Kuwait, and Tunisia -- three different continents -- all happened on the same day, prompting concerns regarding the spreading influence of Jihadists.

According to the New York Times, 37 people were gunned down at a Tunisian hotel by a terrorist disguised as a vacationer, another 25 are estimated to be dead after a suicide bomber targeted a Shiite mosque in Kuwait, and one person was left decapitated in France when attackers unsuccessfully tried to bomb an American-owned factory. While the attacks don't seem to be coordinated, they did happen nearly at the same time.

"It's too soon to know whether these attacks were all coordinated or whether they were all just completely separate," said a spokesperson from the Pentagon. "We just don't know yet."

If they aren't connected, it's likely the Islamic State inspired the attacks.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron tweeted, "I am sickened by the attacks in Tunisia, France and Kuwait. Our countries stand together in combatting the horrors of terrorism."
