New York Knicks fans boo Kristaps Porzingis

After months of speculation about what the New York Knicks would do with the No. 4 overall pick in the draft, and we found out what that plan was. D'Angelo Russell went No. 2 overall to the Lakers and Jahlil Okafor went the pick after that, it was all about international mystery.

Kristaps Porzingis was ultimately the pick for the Knicks at No. 4 overall and the analysts loved the pick for the potential value it provides. It wasn't the national analysts that you had to worry about if you are Phil Jackson — it's the local fans and their reaction.

Unsurprisingly, Knicks fans booed Kristaps Porzingis after he was picked No. 4 overall in the NBA Draft:

This isn't all that surprising when you think about it.

Knicks fans would boo LeBron James if the team drafted him, so the fact that they booed an international guy they've probably never heard of is almost natural. If Knicks fans didn't boo, that would be an issue and it would make us wonder why the Earth all of a sudden stopped spinning on it's axis.

If Knicks fans are booing, all is right in the world.
