Meet Some Of The Contenders From Ugliest Dog Competition

People usually think their dog is the cutest, but these owners are gladly showing off the unique looks of their pets. They've entered the World's Ugliest Dog contest, which is about to be held for the 27th year at the Sonoma-Marin Fair.

The top online pick thus far is Quasi Modo, a pit bull and Dutch shepherd mix rescue with a hunchback. In second place is Morris, a large pink-skinned dog with wide-set eyes and spiky blond hair on his head. Other contenders include Zoomer, who has a serious face, brown spots on his white underbelly, and an unkempt mane of white hair.

Scamp is one of the more furry entrants, with hair resembling dreadlocks and a visible snaggletooth, while Boolah is a third-time competitor in the contest, and though he's never placed, he presents a strong case with his crooked back, three teeth, bowed legs and saggy skin.

Then there is Rascal Deux who has spotted skin, eyes that look outwards, and white hair growing wildly out of his head; he comes from a long line of ugly dog champions.

Judging will happen on June 26th and will be based on "appearance, personality and audience interaction."
