R.J. Hunter became the No. 28 pick during the 2015 NBA Draft Thursday night when he was called up by the Boston Celtics -- and Nick Greegan had the pleasure of visiting Atlanta, Georgia, with AOL Rise to hang out with R.J. Hunter and his father Ron on the day of the highly-anticipated event.

Ron had the opportunity to coach R.J. for three years at Georgia State -- and on Thursday night, he got the chance to watch as his son headed to the NBA. Instead of traveling to New York, the family decided to stay in Atlanta and make it a home affair. AOL was there for all of the action.

Nick first met up with R.J. and Ron at Vintage Barber Shop, and when he asked R.J. how he was feeling, he said, "Right now I feel super normal, and it's kind of making me mad."

"Just trying to have fun with it, not be stressed about it," he continued.

Later on in the night, as R.J.'s name was called, it was clear why his father encouraged him to stay home for the big moment. The familial support and excitement around him was a sight to be seen.
