Taye Diggs will be getting really dolled up for his new role in the glam rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, as the actor has revealed a first picture of himself in costume. No surprise here: He looks good in glitter!
Taye Diggs Returns to Broadway with 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch'
Diggs will play the show's lead, genderqueer East German rock singer Hedwig, in the show's successful revival for a 12-week run starting July 22.

"Hedwig is the role of a lifetime. I'm looking forward to being challenged performance-wise on many levels, as well as being humbled by the musical's social implications," Diggs told People. He added, "I also like wearing nail polish."

Diggs replaces former Glee star Darren Criss in the role. Before him, Neil Patrick Harris won a Tony as the revival's original star. Andrew Rannells, Michael C. Hall and the musical's co-writer John Cameron Mitchell have all held the lead role as well.
Diggs last appeared on Broadway in Wicked in 2004.
