June 25, 2009 was a day that many remember very well. If you were a fan of the King of Pop, or a fan of popular culture in general, odds are you have an idea of what you were doing when you heard Michael Jackson had died.

From "Billie Jean," to "Dirty Diana," and everything in between, Michael Jackson knew he way into music lovers hearts. Right before he passed, Michael was getting ready to get back into world of pop culture, as he was preparing for a world tour. Sadly, the tour never became a realty. However, a movie titled "This Is It" documenting behind scenes events, and never before scene rehearsal footage was able to show the talent he truly was.

Back in 2009, Twitter was not where it is now in terms instantaneous reaction, but if there was anything to get that conversation going, it was the death of Michael Jackson. We were able to find some of the tweets fans and celebrities posted when they found out the news.
