7 TV squad goals that we wish we were a part of

The Cast of Seinfeld: Then Vs. Now

Have you ever watched a television show and thought, "Me, I need to be a part of that group! I need to be friends with them?" It happens to the best of us, don't worry.

Casting directors do an amazing job of putting together the best casts on our popular television shows. You've got fans who watch for the story lines, and the plots, and then you have those who watch for the sheer imagination of becoming a part of their squad.

Because AOL.com cares about your needs, we decided to put a list together of the best TV friendships in history, aka, TV Squad Goals.

7.) "How I Met Your Mother"
CBS knew how to pick them with "HIMYM." Robin, Barney, Ted, Marshall and Lilly loved each other and loved the bar. What's better?

6.) "Will & Grace"
Not just Will and Grace, but Will, Grace, Karen and Jack were a team like no other. All of them are hilarious and Karen always has a drink in her hand, BFFs forever!

5.) "Parks and Recreation"
The friendship between Leslie and Ann is one many sought after, but we can't forget the force of nature when everyone is together like Andy, Ron, April, Tom, Donna and Jerry!

4.) "Sex and the City"
When you think of squad goals, the ladies of "Sex and the City" probably come to mind. Who wouldn't want to be part of a group who brunched almost every day!

3.) "Seinfeld"
The amount of hilarity that would ensue being with this gang is off the charts. Elaine, Jerry, Kramer and George are four people we would definitely want to hang out and open a bag of pretzels with, or soup.

2.) "Friends"
Whether it's the yearn to spend time in Monica's apartment, or hear Phoebe play Smelly Cat, this squad will be one we envy for years to come.

1.) "Cheers"
First off, they all gather around a bar. Win. Secondly, the concept is going somewhere where everyone knows your name. The group at "Cheers" was absolutely hilarious and will live on to be the TV show with the #1 squad goals.
