According to the report, the royal income from March 2014 to March 2015 was $31.1 million! The income comes from the Duchy of Cornwall, an enormous estate given to the heir to the throne aka Prince Charles. The estate funds all things royal from hair accessories to private planes.

The report also revealed specific costs throughout the year. Clothing and travel for William, Kate, Prince Harry, and staff amounted to $4.6 million.

The official budget from the Duchy of Cornwall does not cover the renovations of William and Kate's country home, Anmer Hall. In addition, William and Kate pay their personal staff including George's nanny and their Anmer Hall housekeeper themselves, as Charles' official budget does not cover these expenses.

We're not exactly sure how the Royal Family appears to down-to-earth and humble given this enormous income. We can't decide if it makes us love them even more than we already did or if we kind of hate them a little bit. Either way, it's an impressive number and we're glad to see them spending the money in a tasteful manner. The Royal Family defines class.
