9 famous faces we would love to see on 'Lip Sync Battle'

Lip Sync Battle Trailer With Justin Bieber, Iggy Azalea & Victoria Justice

'Lip Sync Battle' returns Thursday, July 9, at 10 p.m. ET on Spike!

The cult hit, thanks to Jimmy Fallon, is back this July with some absolutely amazing performers. This mid-season has everyone from Terrance Howard and Taraji P. Henson, to Justin Bieber and Deion Sanders, there is certainly no shortage of star power.

While the list of those who have performed on the show, and "The Tonight Show" is exhaustive, we created a list of our own of who we would love to see grab the mic.

Scroll through below and check out our list of celebs who need to be on "Lip Sync Battle."

9.) Jane Fonda
Jane already hosts her own dance parties, so why not this? It's a match made in heaven.

8.) Steve Carrell
Steve killed it in Jimmy Fallon's "Ragtime Gals" and would kill it here as well.

7.) Hillary Clinton
Remember what the saxophone did for Bill on the Arsenio Hall Show? And who wouldn't love to see her perform in a pantsuit.

Lisa Kudrow performing "Smelly Cat," while Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer sing "Baby Got Back," like they did for Emma, it's a viral sensation waiting to happen.

Kerry clearly has the chops to do anything. Remember her parody in the SNL skit, "What Does My Girl Say?" She has what it takes.

The mega-star that is George Clooney always seems up for some fun and a sure fire hit if he were to hit that lip sync battle floor.

1.) Meryl Streep, Queen
She knows how to sing, clearly. "Mamma Mia," "A Prairie Home Companion," her upcoming flick, "Ricki and the Flash." This is a win-win for everyone, really.

4. Stephen Merchant and Joseph Gordon Levitt join Fallon for this epic lip syncing battle.

Merchant kicks it off with a DJ Jazzy Jeff special "Boom Shake the Room." Merchant and John Krasinski actually created the lip syncing battle content with Emily Blunt, and later introduced it to Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon follows up with a comic lip sync "Don't You Want Me." Joseph Gordon-Levitt melts the hearts of girls everywhere with a performance of "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John.

Watch as the three compete for the title of lip sync champion.(HINT: Watch through JGL's second performance. Can you say amazing?)

3. Jimmy asks guests Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton to battle in an epic lip sync-off to songs like "Burn" and "Endless Love," and this one definitely lives up to the EPIC classification.

Shelton steps up to the battle with "Puttin on the Ritz" by Taco.  Fallon follows up with "Burn" by Ellie Goulding (strong choice, strong choice). Stefani performs Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe."

The second round of songs, however, is worth a close watch.

2. It's not hard to see Paul Rudd's comic genius in his lip sync mastery of Tina Turner's "You Better be Good to Me," but he really steps it up in his second song with Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now."

Fallon is pretty much blown away.

1. Jimmy Fallon opens with an amazing performance of Iggy Azalea's "Fancy." But Emma Stone fires back fast with Blues Traveler's "Hook," and Fallon is visibly impressed while he watches on the sidelines.

The two songs that come next, however, are definitely the top of the top when it comes to lip sync battle material. Fallon even tells Stone: "That was the best one that's ever been done on the show!"
