At first glance, golf courses -- acres of groomed grass and lush greenery -- may seem like a beautiful use of land, especially compared to other sports institutions, like massive stadiums or chlorine-filled pools.

But director Anthony Baxter is determined to debunk the misconception. In his new documentary film, "A Dangerous Game," the filmmaker examined the environmental impact of building golf courses -- and asserts that Donald Trump's courses in Scotland and America are environmental calamities.

The Trump Organization owns 15 golf courses around the world, including one in Scotland the mogul has proclaimed the "best in the world." Trump International Golf Links, Scotland became a point of controversy when it received major backlash from locals and environmental groups to preserve the 4,000-year-old sand dunes deemed a "protected area."

It's an issue "A Dangerous Game" scrutinizes, along with another environmental affair Trump has involved himself personally. When lawmakers made plans to install windmills on the coastline as part of the country's renewable energy program, Trump testified to the Scottish Parliament to put it to a stop, for fear of spoiling the view from his new course.

Baxter previously chronicled the mogul and reality TV star in "You've Been Trumped," which attracted legal threats from Trump when it was aired in prime time on BBC.

This time around, Baxter scored an interview with the 2016 hopeful himself, as well as Alec Baldwin and leading environmentalist Robert Kennedy Jr., who took a stand against the billionaire and other luxury golf courses.
