The Best Beer In America For The Seventh Year In A Row Is...

The American Homebrewer's Association has voted Russian River Brewing Company's Pliny The Elder as the number one beer in the US for the seventh year in a row.

AHA members were asked to list their top twenty favorite domestic beers available commercially in the US. They received 19,000 votes for 6,000 different beers.

"I say it every year, but we really are honored and humbled. There are so many great beers out there," Russian River co-founder and brewmaster told the AHA.

Pliny The Elder is a Double IPA with an alcohol by volume of 8 percent.
