KFC customer claims he bit into a rat

A Californian KFC customer claims he discovered he was served a deep-fried rat after taking a bite into it.

25-year-old Devorise Dixon says he went into a Los Angeles-area KFC restaurant and ordered a three-piece chicken tender meal.

"As I bit into a piece of it, I noticed that it was very hard/tough and rubbery," Dixon posted on Facebook. "I looked down at it and saw that it was in a shape of a rat with a tail. It sent deep chills throughout my whole body! I've been feeling weird ever since."

However, a spokesperson for KFC smells a hoax. They sent the New York Daily News an alternate angle of the alleged rat that clearly shows hand-breaded white meat chicken.

"Based on this, and the fact that he refuses to allow anyone to see the product, we are left to believe that he intended to deceive the public with this hoax and we are considering all options," explained the KFC spokesperson.
