Eva Mendes Spills Beauty and Fitness Secrets

Eva Mendes is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

We don't know if it's her status as a new mom that keeps her skin glowing, or if she just has good genes.

Which is why we were ecstatic when we found out she was answering questions and spilling her secrets via Facebook chat.

Ladies! I'm doing my first Facebook chat today at 12 PST. Let's talk about fun stuff like beauty and fashion. Would love...

Here's what you need to know:

On staying healthy

"Drinking warm water and lemon every morning before my coffee and staying hydrated all day long really helps me stay healthy and helps my skin look its best."

On her workout and eating habits

"I do cardio and light weights at least three times a week. I think eating anything you want as long as it's in moderation is good. I love a batido de mamay!"

On the best makeup removing method

"Coconut oil on a damp washcloth."

On her daily beauty routine

"Ok, so this may sound gross but I save time by not washing my face in the morning. It's one less thing to do and I find that water is drying to my face. I use my Estee Lauder Dimension tape and serum (they're life savers!!!) both in morning and at night. I also use another amazing Estée Lauder product called Night Repair. It's incredible. But basically I have a quick routine that I stick to. I don't overcomplicate with a ton of products. And I do the same with make up. I chose just three products as my staples and stick with them. And sleep!"

On her make-up must-haves

"Cream blush! My favorite is from CIRCA Beauty in Portofino. It instantly refreshes my look. I even use it on my lips. I also cannot live without a a black pencil for my eyes. And coconut oil for my lips. Those are my three top make up essentials."

On old school beauty tips and tricks

"I have two tips that I got from my mother. One is when in a pinch and dealing with hair that's a little oily, to use baby powder in your hair and it actually creates a great kind of bed head texture. Make sure you shake all the baby powder out but once you do you're left with a really amazing texture. The other one is when applying blush or rouge of any kind, don't skip your nose. Make sure you apply it a little bit across your nose as well. It makes for a more natural, sun kissed look."

On looking fresh year after year

"I'm religious about drinking a ton of water. I also exercise at least three days a week no matter how stressed I am. And I love trying new skin products and getting facials from different people so I learn all the techniques out there."
