Comedy legend Tommy Chong just revealed he's once again battling cancer.

"I got diagnosed with rectal cancer," Chong told Us Weekly. When Chong beat prostate cancer in 2013, he cited cannabis as a major asset in his fight. Now, he's turning to the same leaf for help.

"I'm using cannabis like crazy now, more so than ever before," Chong said. "I'm in treatment now. I've been -- just the case either way, either I get healed or I don't. But either way, I'm going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up."

As part of the comedy duo Cheech & Chong, Tommy Chong epitomized and influenced pot-smoking culture in the '70s.

The duo's second and third albums (1972's Big Bambu and 1973's Los Cochinos) albums peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Their "Earacha My Eye" song/skit actually became a top 10 chart hit in the mid '70s.
