Jane Goodall is a world-renowned primatologist.

In the past few days, a video clip from 2014 has been widely shared online. It shows an incredible moment between Jane and a chimpanzee named Wounda.

After being cared for at a Jane Goodall Institute's rehabilitation center, the video captured Wounda being released into the outdoors.

At that moment, seemingly full of gratitude, Wounda turns around and gives Jane a hug.

Jane remarked, "It was a very, very touching moment. One of the most amazing things that's ever happened to me. The warmth of her embrace is something I shall never forget."

Founded in 1977, the Jane Goodall Institute works on preserving and restoring critical habitats around the world.
