Original Owner of 'Miracle House' Considered for Sainthood

FOX 8 -- People from around the world are flocking to this unassuming Canton, Ohio, home in hopes of being healed. Though the house may not look special, an investigation is moving forward considering possible sainthood for the home's original, and now deceased, owner Rhoda Wise.

Karen Sigler is caretaker of the non-profit property where everyone is welcome and some report miraculous healings. "We had a woman who told us her husband was cured of Parkinson's and ... dementia," Sigler said.

Sainthood for the original owner of Ohio's 'Miracle House'?

All of the claims have been under review by the Catholic Church and the Youngstown diocese for nearly two years. They are also trying to figure out how all these events pertain to Rhoda Wise, an ordinary woman who was sent home to die here in 1939.

Now, there may be evidence that what's happening there is truly miraculous. Suzanne Stratford has details in the video above.
