If you're ever made a conscious effort to eat a healthy diet, you've definitely experienced this – you are going out to eat and have no idea what to order. Bob Harper is sharing several options that will help you stay figure-friendly while dining out.

What to Order at the Mexican Restaurant

Bob recommends staying away from starchy carbs like beans, rice, chips and flour tortillas. Bob recommends ordering lots of vegetables and shares that he usually gets the fajitas with corn tortillas and guacamole.

What to Order at the Chinese or Asian Restaurant

Bob says: skip the rice! He advocates ordering steamed foods and adding a small amount of a flavorful sauce, which will go a long way.

How to Work Alcohol into Your Diet

Bob says that when you drink an alcoholic beverage with a meal, be sure to count that as your carb for the meal.

Tip: For serving sizes, keep this rule in mind. 8 oz. is a serving of beer, 4 oz. is a serving of wine, and a shot glass is a serving of liquor.
