Here's Why Kim Kardashian Won't Name Her Next Child 'South'

North, South, East, West – I mean really, how do you pick the best direction?

Unless you are just One Direction, that is.

But Kim Kardashian and Kanye West already know the answer to that question. It's North West.

Kim announced her second pregnancy in May and potential baby name rumors are already starting.

Naturally, many hope the newest West will be named South. But in an interview with an NPR Chicago radio show, Kim 100 percent shot that rumor down.

The reality star said, "I don't like South West though because that's like, you know, North will always be better. It's just a better direction."

The host continued, saying that naming the second child another direction would set the two West children up for conflict. She agreed, saying, "Exactly, so I wouldn't do that. I don't think we'll go with another direction."

But we've already seen that picking a unique name isn't out of the question. After all, when Kim and Kanye initially announced North's name, people didn't totally think they were serious.

The star confirmed to GQ in 2013 that the name started to stick with her after Vogue's Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour told the couple that "North is a genius name."

If you haven't noticed, every member of the Kardashian family has a name that starts with a 'K.' But Kim pointed out on a "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" trailer that if she named her kid with a "K" name, it could be bad.

Kim said, "But then our kid, if it's a 'K,' they'll call us the KKK."

And she definitely does not want her family to be connected with the white supremacist group, the Ku Klux Klan.

So, if she doesn't go with a direction ... how about a fruit?

Gwyneth Paltrow named her little girl Apple, after all. And Ethan Hawke has a baby girl named Clementine.

So how about Strawberry West? Maybe?
