Ed Sheeran makes the day of yet another fan with surprise duet
Ed Sheeran loves his fans.
He's been a wedding singer for a night to surprise a deserving couple. He's also visited a fan in the hospital after she was diagnosed with leukemia and had to miss his concert.
Now he's surprised yet another fan with an impromptu duet.
He was casually strolling through a mall in Edmonton, Canada, when he heard a young girl singing a cover of his song, "Thinking Out Loud."
The voice belonged to 13-year-old Sydney Bourbeau, who was performing at a fundraiser for Edmonton Humane Society.
Sheeran decided to get up on stage and join her.
"I was like, should I stop? I didn't want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him," Sydney told the Edmonton Journal. "This is, like, the best thing that's ever happened to me."
Bourbeau initially thought Sheeran was just someone there to adjust her mic. Once she processed who he was, she sang one verse with her idol before pausing for a hug, and finished the song with the biggest smile ever.
As if it could get any better, Bourbeau was later text by Sheeran's manager, offering her two tickets to the singer's concert on Sunday.
Chin up sheerio's. You could be the next fan to get a surprise from Ed Sheeran himself.
He's currently on tour with Rixton, and could be coming to a city near you.
