"House Of Cards" star Kevin Spacey may not actually be the president of the United States - but he is an honorary knight of the British Empire.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a number of British musicians and actors were celebrated during the annual Birthday Honors of Queen Elizabeth II on Saturday. On the list of honorees was Spacey.

Although he's not British, the 55-year-old actor has served as the artistic director of London's Old Vic Theater for the past ten years.

"Overwhelmed to be made an honorary knight. Appreciate everyone sending their good wishes & thanks to the Queen," Spacey tweeted Saturday.

However, don't start referring to the Academy Award winner as Sir Kevin Spacey. While knights are addressed as "Sir," honorary recipients have no title. For now we can just keep calling him President Frank Underwood.
