New concept super yacht doubles as a plane

The days of billionaires having to decide between taking a luxury yacht or a private plane may soon be over.

A Russian designer has developed a concept vessel that serves as both.

He has named it the Monaco 2050.

Renderings show that the boat's upper deck doubles as an aircraft.

In the event there isn't adequate space for a jet to take flight, a wing adjustment can be activated, allowing for vertical liftoff.

Depending upon the distance of the destination, the plane can either be kept in helicopter mode or be switched over to the higher traveling, faster option.

Don't start standing in line to buy one just yet.

The developer doesn't think the yacht-jet combo will be buildable until about 2050.
